Happy May Day!

A nice stitching roundup for the end of April!

I've had this beautiful dream that one day all my smaller pieces will be done and then I'll go crazy with my big ones, but that dream really depended on me not finding anything else to stitch and..cough cough...ahem...

So I'm kind of recalibrating and digging into the vault to get my bigger pieces moving, and this is my biggest, the Sistine Chapel by HAED. I stitched some more of the ceiling border:

Sweet Tea Rex by Ardith Designs has all the blue dinosaurs filled in:

Sakura Pagoda by Riolis got all sky work this week:

Bear Walk by Stitchy Fish got more sunset and Big Bear got more fur:

Rouxdolph by Dirty Annies has more letters:

Ukraine Map has more of Cherkasy Oblast:

and Braver by Dimensions has more random flowers and lettering:

Spent the week beating the tariffs - got a bike rack installed on my car, air conditioner fixed, ordered Sunday School supplies for the rest of the year, looted Joanns and got my birthday/anniversary order in early at 123 stitch.  We may end up  feasting on dandelions and nettles, but at least I'll be getting my craft on!

Kuna likes to nap in her hole outside when it gets hot, but she can't really relax at night because she's scared of the neighborhood owl. Poor Kuna!

Happy Holy Week!

I spent Palm Sunday teaching the Sunday School how to make hot cross buns, which came out more like lumpy cinnamon scones but it was fun anyway.  I hope you all have a peaceful Holy Week if you celebrate, and a festive Passover for my Jewish friends!

My stitching since I was last here isn't too much.  My dinosaurs are all started on Tea Rex:

Braver than you Believe has more everything....

and Roxxdolph has some legs and letters:

Happy April Fool's!

It seems like an April Fool's joke that I have a post, and a finish, but it's so real!

The finish is El Toro by Barbra Ana:

You're Awesome by Daily Cross Stitch :

Roller Skate by Wild Olive - in a month I got a wheel backstitched, hoping that this month I can do the other one, haha:

Floral File from Just Cross Stitch is mostly some beads and backstitching left:

Christmas Cactus by Mill Hill got the cactus arm waving :

Tea Rex by Ardith Designs, finished the top dinosaur body:

Chinese Dragon by Riolis got more of the lantern done:

Yeehaw by BAD stitch got the frog s Chtarted:

Got the legs started on Rouxdolph. I don't like the blue light so I may change it to something brighter:

Braver than you Believe by DesignWorks has some more lettering done:

and a New Start,

Lantern Festival by Riolis,  I started the pagoda roof:

My Storygraph for the month - I meant to read deep Lenten things but then I grabbed Agatha Raisin and that was that, haha.  I read Waco because it reminds me of my dad, the books on sugar and Cuba because my grandparents had a sugar plantation in Cuba until the Revolution. Witch of Blackbird Pond made my 6th grade heart explode and it was fun to go back.
